A few questions about breast milk storage?
First of all when the milk and fat separate how can you mix them back together w/o shaking the bottle? (i heard you’re not suposed to shake a bottle of breastmilk)
Second, can you put breastmilk in a plastic bottle in a freezer to freeze? I know you can get storage bags but storing it right in the bottle seems much more convenient. I have bottles that are a squishy kind of plastic and bottles that are a hard plastic.
You can store breastmilk in bottles in the freezer as long as they are airtight. As for the separation you just swirl the bottle rather than shaking it.
This site is a great resource that has information on ALL breastfeeding topics from storage to technique as well as forums for any questions
